This is why I'm super unhappy with only a 2TB NVMe SSD. I bought a 2TB Samsung 960 Pro in 2016 and that's still the largest size with the Samsung 980 Pro.
Many different clones of the Linux kernel and multiple AOSP + Chromium build trees eats away all that storage space.
It also takes over 30GB of memory to make a fully LTO linked Linux kernel (rather than lighter ThinLTO) with all the drivers built into it and that's just using a single thread so I want to link a dozen of them at a time. Clearly I should get at least 256GB of memory.
