A lot of the time even though people were supposedly doing something outdoors, they were also indoors to some extent with the same group of people. Doubt that a bunch of people congregating in an open field would lead to the same thing unless they were packed in like a concert.

That was a largely indoor event misrepresented by them as being outdoors to pretend they were putting any care into avoiding spreading COVID. There are a bunch of pictures of them shaking hands indoors without masks, etc. so it definitely wasn't just in that outdoor area.

There's a widely circulated claim that "there is not a single documented COVID-19 infection anywhere in the world from outdoor transmission" Do you agree that claim is false? Or do you think all of the documented cases of outdoor transmission are false/misleading?

There's obviously outdoor transmission but most of these supposedly outdoor superspreader events were largely indoor events. I don't think fully vaccinated people (with the mRNA vaccines) meeting outdoors without being crowded together matters much even with Delta variant.
