On Nvidia cards, TI is basically the upgraded version.
Numbering wise, xx60 is the default model, xx50 is budget, xx70 is enthusiast, xx80 is rich-kid and xx90 is More Money Than sense.
Also worth noting NVIDIA's reference models prioritize exhausting most heat outside the case. They don't have great cooling and get quite loud under load.
As long as you have proper case exhaust the base EVGA models are nicer and run much cooler + quieter with same retail price.
Yeah I recently got a 3070 and it gets louder than I really expected - it’s a great card but in a case with water cooling I sometimes worry about the volume of the fan
Yeah, in normal times, the best choice for a desktop is buying the base EVGA model with a nice 140mm case fan for CPU + GPU exhaust.
I have a 1080 Ti FE because I bought it before partner variants were available. Part of why I started using closed headphones for most things.
Most of the partner variants of the high end models are likely run quieter / cooler assuming you have good case exhaust.
So, don't fall into the trap of thinking you should prioritize getting an NVIDIA brand one. It's probably quite hard to get a nice EVGA one right now though.
