Convinced the most persistent trolls raiding our chat rooms to leave us be and that the people who encouraged them to bother us are in the wrong.
Couldn't convince them to stop spending all day bothering people but they agreed to leave most rooms for open source projects alone.

Nice having a break from these persistent daily raids on our chat rooms, even if they end up coming back eventually.
Suggested that they should find something better to do than posting gore in Matrix rooms all day. I don't think that's going to happen so harm reduction it is.

Matrix really needs better anti-abuse tools. Should at least be able to adjust permissions for rich formatting and inline media.
Element having a UI for features like server ACLs would also be nice. Doing that by hand is a bit scary since you can easily brick the room...
