Any suggestions for editing images in ChromeOS? Minor, minor edits. All Linux image editors I've used are terrible, and I can't trust a web service for some images.

If you need more, I'd recommend using Krita. It's a very capable image editor, not just a painting program.
The full desktop application is available for Android/ChromeOS via play.google.com/store/apps/det in addition to being able to use it via ChromeOS desktop Linux app support.

It was originally for painting, but I think they should be marketing it as a general purpose image application at this point. It's so much easier to work with than GIMP and it's more capable in a lot of ways. GIMP can do some things it can't, but it's usually far easier in Krita.
It also has very easy to follow documentation:
docs.krita.org/en/reference_m
I don't think I'll ever have a reason to deal with GIMP again. Krita covers everything I would ever need from Photoshop, GIMP, etc.
If you ever want stuff like fancy filters, etc. it has G'MIC integration.
