Sadly assembling my new workstation is delayed due to Newegg and/or Purolator and/or Canada Post screwing up delivery of the memory.
Purolator delivered it to Canada Post. Canada Post decided it had to be frozen/held, but they don't know why and don't know what happened to it.

Newegg didn't feel like doing anything about it but threatening to return the motherboard and CPU convinced them to contact Canada Post.
Wasted 3+ hours dealing with this already. Very likely the last time that I order anything from Newegg even when it's the cheapest option.

At least when you order from Amazon, you can have confidence that they'll get the issues fixed without a major hassle.
Newegg applies the classic approach of blaming you for the issues and making it into your problem to somehow resolve. Threatening chargeback + returns worked...

Newegg has been extremely sketchy since they were bought out a few years back and immediately got involved in a ponzi scheme around fake invoices.

Sorry to hear about the delays and issues. That sucks big time, especially when its parts for a new system.

I sent a package through Canada post 2 months ago. It hasn't arrive yet (I considered it lost)
