Very impressed with my pixel 3 xl's wifi hardware. There's an AP I've been using and most apple devices (iPhones and laptops) have issues talking to the AP. My phone works great and it's hotspot feature can reshare wifi so they use it, and it works.

Also means that it's the same across most Android phones since most use Snapdragon. It's a very fancy and extremely over-engineered implementation. The qcacld driver for it is about 35% of the code being used in the kernel, either as source or compiled. It's a bit ridiculous.

Definitely works well but at the same time it's completely nuts. I'm not exaggerating about the size of it at all. It's actually be closer to 40% of the kernel space code. I wasn't including the other modules that exist entirely as part of the infrastructure for qcacld...
