If you want a perfect example "Tech Debt" - IPv6 deployment would be it. Turning on IPv6 on network devices is easy. Enabling it in your applications is hard. Also when you have certain companies refusing to support features for "reasons" (see also - Android and DHCPv6)...

It's part of IPv6 but as an optional feature. I don't think it can really be expected that everyone will support it. I'm glad that Android doesn't support it. By refusing to add it, they prevent organizations from treating it as universally supported and forcing it on everyone.
