Freenode just took over every channel that mentioned moving to Libera in the topic, after changing their policy to allow that. Yes, really. And then they even managed to botch that. Just in case you're wondering how things are going over there.

They did this to any channel mentioning libera in the topic even if they weren't moving to it. We were moving to Matrix before they changed the policies to disallow projects leaving the network. Regret mentioning setting up matterbridge to libera now...

Freenode admins hijacked the #grapheneos and #grapheneos-offtopic channels due to us migrating to Matrix rooms: gist.github.com/thestinger/eb9 They removed our channel moderation privileges, changed the topic and set the channel to invite-only preventing users from joining/rejoining.
