He's not a Korean crown prince, though, he's a Californian bitcoin millionaire with no relation to the former Korean royal family who bribed one of the current pretenders to the nonexistent throne to name him his crown prince. Korea stopped being a monarchy over a century ago.

There's no such thing as legitimate royalty. The whole thing says everything about his character. Look at the new branding for freenode's ownership:

As far as I can tell, he wants freenode for the same reason he wanted that title, not to monetize it.
