I don't get it. If Firefox is going to sabotage web compatibility in a dozen ways that impact our sites we just won't test/support it anymore.

Sites should have a way to avoid an icon used in important parts of the user interface being invisible due to a half baked dark mode.
I'd happily test and support Firefox for grapheneos.org/install/web but their attitude on that is a no compromise rejection. Has become a pattern.

What do you want them to do they have limited resources compared to Chromium and they have really bad leadership compared to years past and this is why they are losing market share.
I fear for the future where google dominates the web browser space with chromium

They deserve to lose more usage share. Chromium should be split away from Google and managed by a foundation like LLVM. Usage share of non-Google browsers built on Chromium is significantly larger than Firefox especially on mobile.
Even Firefox reuses a lot of the Chromium code.
