I should really be nicer. Yeah, Thomas and Alito predictably sided with Ellison (presumably because the Legion of Doom sticks together). However, the majority made a good call, which applies to like 95% of cases they hear (even if it's only 10% of high profile cases).

With how badly Google argued their case in front of the court, I'm 100% surprised by this decision. I agree APIs should be available w/ fair use, but after hearing Google's lawyers butcher any sort of coherent explanation as to why... I fully expected us to enter an API dark age.
