“rms should resign” signatories list contains many significant contributors to free software- people that have had to interact with him and have advanced the cause. The rms support list seems to be mostly users with few credentials -likely fans that never had to deal with him.

reiserfs and reiser4 still have fans swearing by it and trying to promote it... sourceforge.net/projects/reise reiser4 was never upstream but there are still people maintaining it as an out-of-tree filesystem. It's weird. It's not even at all good.

Interacted with defenders on another platform that felt he should be allowed a computer in prison so he could continue contributing to the software. Big statements about should we reject world changing ideas just because he murdered someone. It sure was something.
