Was going to buy one of these but it's so late into the cycle that I plan to wait for Zen 3 Threadripper now...
Can't even buy a 5950X for the high end desktop tier Zen 3 right now since it's out of stock everywhere. 2020/2021 computer parts experience.

It looks like Zen 3 EPYC is about to be released. I really wonder when the new Threadripper CPUs are coming though. The price isn't really the issue but rather actually being able to source all the parts and having good single threaded performance for build bottlenecks too.
