Copperhead's approach to Twitter is responding to people followed by blocking them to prevent replying. They do this across many of their accounts. They'll end up unblocking to reply followed by blocking again. They try to make echo chambers where no one can reply to their lies.

You can still reply by replying to other people responding to them instead of to them directly. I also recommend blocking them after they've blocked you so that they can't unblock to reply to your tweets and then block you again to prevent you from replying to the misinformation.

You probably won't even notice that they're doing this to spread misinformation on your tweets if they have you blocked most of the time, except when they're replying to you. So, keep that in mind. Mutual blocking abusive people is very advisable even if you usually never block.
