Finally got my Twitter account unsuspended.
Last time I was able to tweet, Trump was still President.

So what happened? I have no idea. They both suspended and unsuspended me with no notice whatsoever.

I've never gotten a response from Twitter about the prior account being hijacked. It was tied to my phone number, had non-SMS 2FA and a strong password. I never got a notice about it and have never received any response to them about it. No opportunity to contest it.

This whole thing sadly makes me want to get a blue check... just so this doesn't happen again

I got the account verified based on my email and phone number back when verification was open to applications.
I do know exactly what happened since Twitter leaks information about the current email tied to an account via the account recovery process. Can tell what they did.

You would think that they would have contacted me and handled it as a dispute but they simply took the word of the person in control of the domain for my prior email address and rolled back the email change from a year earlier. I doubt they'd have done it if they contacted me.
