My tweet was the 2nd in this thread: twitter.com/DanielMicay/st Extended Random by itself is not a backdoor. Rather, it's suspected of being an aid to a backdoor. I don't agree with a public call out of people involved without evidence they intended to do anything malicious.

I don't agree Salter working for the NSA means that we should assume that she was in on it while assuming good faith from the other co-author. My argument certainly wasn't that we should treat both as acting in bad faith... but rather not blaming either without actual evidence.
