twitter.com/DanielMicay/st Bing normalizes a URL with the path /foo/ and /foo to the same thing. It can't cope with them being different. Means it can't discover that grapheneos.org/install/ exists to index it because grapheneos.org/install/cli was at grapheneos.org/install before.

Bing Webmaster Tools shows search query details to the point that it shows unique search queries. You can see a query done a single time by a single user even if they didn't click your site in the results. That's more than a bit creepy and seems like a pretty bad design choice.

Perhaps it would make more logical sense for grapheneos.org/install to redirect to grapheneos.org/install/ but that's irrelevant because all of the existing links to it were intended to be links to the CLI install guide. They're assuming something very wrong about how URLs work.

Perhaps I'll have to screw up all those old links to the CLI install guide because I'd really like Bing and search engines using the results like DuckDuckGo to be able to find the generic install page providing a choice between the approaches. Pretty stupid. Search engines suck.
