Since upgrading to Firefox 84 (from a few versions back, don't recall which) it's not honoring getaddrinfo result order. Lazyweb, any idea what the cause of the regression could be and how to fix it?

It's not DoH; that's hard disabled.

Seems to be with anything. Most noticable is google because they throw a CAPTCHA at you on every search with a nag message if you're using 6to4.

I'm not sure if they're implementing blog.cloudflare.com/speeding-up-ht yet. Encrypted ClientHello is the replacement for eSNI and depends on this. I could see this having that kind of impact. The symptoms don't really sound like this is the problem though.

It sounds like they could be doing some bs with this in place of normal DNS that would lead to the problem observed, but I don't see any such queries in packet dump so...
