Next release of GrapheneOS for January is going to be focused on improving carrier support.
It won't help as much in the US due to dependencies on carrier apps we won't include.
eSIM activation requires making an eSIM app not depending on Google services so it's more long-term.

It's entirely possible for one to be supported but there are no concrete plans to do that. People are welcome to contribute in areas like this.
