It appears that the GrapheneOS subreddit was maliciously mass-reported as being adult material and we're unable to toggle it off in the preferences for the community. So, now we also need to get in contact with an administrator at Reddit. Have unresolved issues from before too.

Reddit appears to have easily abused reporting tools. Their administrators don't actually look at what happened. Had this problem happen before and I had to make a new Reddit account. Only ever got the issue partially resolved and they made sure not to admit they make a mistake.

Luckily, we've already moved away from using Reddit for anything but posting official announcements that are open for comments. We'd like to open it up more again, but we'd need to have a very active moderation team to approve posts and handle the mess. Reddit has some issues.

We also make the announcements in the IRC / Matrix channel and on Twitter. We could start posting more through our own site and set up an atom feed for it. Already set up an atom feed on grapheneos.org/releases for the the release announcements so people can subscribe to that.
