I love Linux, but I really wish there were clone and vmsplice equivalents to operate on *another* process.

You can even migrate a process (or container) across machines with this within certain constraints. I think it's a bit insane for production usage, especially across kernel versions, but I'm guessing you want this kind of functionality for debugging / inspection of processes.
