GrapheneOS is the original project carried on from 2014. Copperhead was a sponsor of the project for a period of time, but they went back on our agreements and attempted to take it over through coercion and threats. It has been much more successful without them holding it back.

I never left Copperhead. I was pushed out because I got in the way of their fraudulent claims and untrustworthy reseller network. They went back on their agreements with me over my open source work and disregarded their obligations to me as 50% shareholder of the company.

I never turned over control and ownership of my work to them. The project has always been independent and remains that way. You can see that the repository on GitHub at github.com/GrapheneOS date back to before Copperhead was founded. Look at network graphs and pull requests.
