I had removed my tweet about CopperheadOS. I knew this project from a distance memory, and apparently things have changed throughout the years. The original dev then created GrapheneOS. Here is a link to a more detailed explanation, judge it for yourself grapheneos.org/#history

CopperheadOS doesn't have the full September security patch level (2020-09-05) or the October security patch levels. It also isn't based on the latest release of Android with the substantial privacy and security improvements it brings. They just have their branding and marketing.

The issues with their own product are definitely business as usual. What's quite unusual is that the company is heavily focused on trying to destroy the project they forked to create their product.

They are seeking out this conflict and are continuing to escalate attacks on GrapheneOS and myself. The history section on our site was added in response to their continued campaign of spreading falsehoods about GrapheneOS and myself. Similarly, that's why I'm posting here.

We have a lot of evidence. We have the archives of the code attributing authorship / ownership to me with my personal email address and the history of the project beginning long before the company existed. I have chat logs. There are also many witnesses to many aspects of this.
