Most of your searches nowadays are "shipped and sold by a third-party seller".
And you don't warn people when those go through customs, which they will then be liable for.
And in one recent case, the customs declaration was for _twice the amount I paid for the thing_.

Best approach is to reject the package, get a refund and buy a different product meeting your expectations. I think an incorrect customs declaration is reason enough to get a refund. Once you accept the package, they've screwed you over.
Amazon is very lenient about getting refunds. As long as you don't actually abuse it and you buy a lot of stuff through them I can't see it ever being a problem. I've taken this approach with cables that didn't meet specifications, clearly counterfeit items, etc...

My dad ended up getting a counterfeit *dog brush* from them at one point...
Amazon mixes inventory between different sellers and will satisfy orders from one seller with inventory for another unless they go out of the way to prevent it.
