The intention for Auditor was to add support for every device launched with Android 8 or later where users submitted valid samples. However, it became overwhelming, especially with devices having bugs/quirks causing breakage. Can't easily debug issues for a device we don't have.

If you mean GrapheneOS, not Auditor specifically, that's covered by grapheneos.org/faq#device-sup. Devices are only considered if they have a device maintenance team committed to long-term support for GrapheneOS along with meeting all of our baseline hardware standards / requirements.
