My new bluetooth mouse is somewhat more usable now that I figured out how to nuke Linux's autosuspend default for bt devices (wtf kinda default is that?!)

Now all that's left is the 200ms latency in the mouse's own sleep after 3s of inactivity. Do all bt mice do this? How hard is it going to be to fix the firmware not to do it?

Also confirmed that exiting mouse's own deep sleep after 10 min actually works right (~1s latency) as long as the host controller wasn't allowed to sleep (best case ~10s latency, sometimes fails to reconnect at all).

My Linux install was moved over from a Thinkpad T530 to a workstation and then my current workstation. I still had power optimizations for the laptop and audio autosuspend was breaking my audio. USB C 3.1 was also causing kernel panics until about Linux 5.4. Not a lot of fun.

Planning on making a new Threadripper-based workstation and my current workstation will become my Windows desktop. Current Windows desktop will be given away to someone. Get to deal with Windows complaining it isn't activated again and showing an overlay on top of everything.
