Version 4 was released yesterday and had an issue fixed by this release.

Make sure that you're updated to version 5 rather than version 4. It's expected that you'll have problems if you only updated to the previous release, since that's what this fixes.

Can you explain what you mean by FC and confirm whether you have issues on the latest release (version 5). It seems likely you got the update to version 4, which has the issue fixed in this release, and you connected it to this release notice instead of the one from yesterday.

I've just installed the v5 from the apk in your GH and it opens properly. (In the meantime I've applied to the beta program in the Play Store).

Okay, that's expected. This was immediately pushed out via the normal release channel for the Play Store so the beta channel won't get you it sooner in this case. The Play Store places substantial delays on pushing out updates which is a problem, especially with issues like this.
