Mozilla covering up security flaws and deploying their community as a weapon to harass security researchers is nothing new. Take note of how they tacitly support spreading misinformation, making dishonest claims and engaging in character assassination. They fully endorse that.

It's convenient for them to have people posting misinformation and harassing researchers who have raised issues with the security of Firefox. It's clear that they have no problem with posting walls of misinformation aimed at directing harassment towards me.

In the GrapheneOS, I shut down and remove these kinds of discussions where people are making false claims about other projects. If they stick to accurate statements, criticism of other projects is generally allowed, but I tend to shut it down / remove it when it becomes too much.
