It's planned but it can only happen if contributors step up to help with development and maintenance of device support. Pixel 4a support will also likely only be considered if Pixel 4 and 4 XL support ends up being added. I don't have time to do device support on my own anymore.

It would have been added a long time ago if people had stepped up to help with this. It has been repeatedly brought up as an area where help is desperately needed. The project is not getting a lot of help and time/energy/money is increasingly wasted dealing with attacks on it.

Currently spending a lot of time / energy / money dealing with my former business partner continuously spreading misinformation and fraudulent claims aimed at harming myself and the project. He also filed a totally bogus lawsuit based on lies and a fraudulent tax filing which...

... are both in the process of being addressed. He threatens / intimidates people contributing to / supporting the project (renlord.com/posts/2020-03-) and is always reaching out to tons of people to try driving them away or turning them against the project with his misinformation.

Right now, my focus is on dealing with this rather than working on the project. Others need to step up more than ever because I'm able to spend less time and energy on it. There are some contributors but it's not nearly enough and there's a lack of interest in device maintenance.
