I didn't advise anyone in the tweet you refer to about mobile OSs, it was to do with running a bitcoin node.

I've tried my best to rebuild the project for the people who were using it before and got screwed over because of my misplaced trust in James. In particular, the huge amount of donations that never made it to the project. Only added legacy Pixel 1 support at all to carry over.

So believe it or not but seeing this hurts and when I see people who I thought were supporters backing someone going far out of the way to harm me, that feels really bad. I tried my best to explain this is something serious and that helping them at all is what kept this going.
