If you use my open source code, the least you can do is to stop supporting a sociopath doing everything he can to destroy my life and my work. I've had a couple incredibly rough years because of this and it's escalating rather than ending thanks to people enabling him to do it.

I'll being doing a crowdfunding campaign for legal fees, but that's going to be a long process. No amount of money that I can erase will stop the damage being done with misinformation and other attacks on myself and GrapheneOS. I don't know what to do about people duped by them.

Think someone reporting on it might help? is a lawyer with a YT channel who might be interested in covering it. He might like to have you on, too, if your counsel advises you to do so. It can help the crowdfunding campaign when it launches.

I'm not doing very well and I don't have the energy to do these kinds of things. I need the community to help a lot more with these kinds of things. It's extremely harmful for people to be amplifying the misinformation and scamming by James Donaldson via the hijacked company.

If people want to help with something, help with this ongoing problem with the Samourai Wallet community that's taking a substantial amount of my time and energy. Figure out who else James is brainwashing, scamming and turning against the open source project he steals from too.

It's really awful to find out that he has been poisoning that well for 2 years and that the community has not been doing anything substantial to address it. James is working every day to spread misinformation, cause harm in any way possible and turn people against GrapheneOS...

What are people in the community doing about that? How does something like this even happen where a community of people who should definitely know better start backing a proprietary fork of the project by a clear scammer? They lie about their claimed partners, developers, etc.
It's such an obvious scam and yet people who think they can handle being their own bank are that easily duped. They're using an OS by a scam artist with a background in drug dealing who already stole hundreds of thousands from the community.

If people truly want a non-open-source ripoff of legacy the GrapheneOS code with DRM/tracking added in and inconsistent maintenance/porting by outsourced developers with no clue what they're doing and no privacy/security experience, they found what they wanted.
