The open source project was continued as GrapheneOS. None of the original developers is involved with Copperhead. They're waging an active war against the developers / project including intimidation, doxxing, fraudulently claiming ownership of our work and bogus legal attacks.

The history is explained at grapheneos.org/#history and you can check for yourself that the repositories at github.com/GrapheneOS are the original ones for the project formerly known as CopperheadOS. Look at both projects on GitHub and it's obvious they forked our legacy code.

CopperheadOS is also not an open source project. It's a proprietary fork in violation of the licensing for the legacy codebase they chose to fork. Their claims of ownership over it are clear fraud and made a fraudulent copyright claim falsely claiming I transferred ownership.

How can people support this? It's hard to understand why people in the Samourai Wallet community are promoting a scam artist's proprietary fork of an open source project. It's extremely harmful to us for people to give him the money/attention he uses to continue causing us harm.
