That's a description of the standard AOSP encryption. CopperheadOS is a fork of the legacy GrapheneOS code. It has all around worse privacy and security. It isn't properly maintained and Copperhead does not have privacy/security engineers/researchers. It's a ripoff of our work.
History of the project is explained at grapheneos.org/#history. CopperheadOS is a proprietary fork of our work. It is not open source, does not even have the current sources available and they are not doing privacy/security work. They're doing everything they can to harm us too.

I strongly recommend that people stop promoting a scam project by people that are doing massive harm to open source privacy and security work. They stole a huge amount of donations from GrapheneOS and have waged a war against it trying to cause as much harm as they possibly can.
