Exactly, original CopperheadOS is continued but the more I read about the reasons of the split, the more I tend to turn away from CH OS and rely on Graphene OS. twitter.com/DanielMicay/st (Mil-Contractor=Raytheon? 🤔) Maybe

GrapheneOS is the original open source project and was founded in 2014, a year before Copperhead was incorporated. A brief overview of the history and copyright ownership is available at grapheneos.org/#history. CopperheadOS is a fork of our legacy codebase by a scam artist.

Look at the public record. Look at the code and the history of the project for yourself. Talk to users and observers of the project who were around from early on and witnessed all of this unfold. Can see for yourself that CopperheadOS is not open source and forked from my code.

Can see for yourself that it was founded as an open source project before Copperhead was incorporated. Can see from the code that the attributions of ownership/authorship have always been to me. Can see that I always kept the company and open source project at arms length.

Go ahead and look back at it using archive.org. Look at how the donations page said that the money was going to the open source project / developers, not the company. Many of you in the Bitcoin community donated to me and I never actually received any of that money.

The money donated by the Bitcoin community was stolen by James Donaldson. It was explicitly stated the money was going to me and the project but it didn't. We got most of the PayPal donations but the rest was largely stolen / embezzled. Can't see how you folks can support him.

Bitcoin donated to the developers / project during the time that the project was sponsored by Copperhead never made it to the developers / project. James Donaldson was delegated the task of handling the intake of these donations and personally stole all of these donations.

This money never went to Copperhead. It was never treated as revenue by the company. James treated it as if the Bitcoin was gifted to him personally. It is completely against what was agreed upon with the project and told to the people who thought they were donating towards it.

No clue what he did with the Bitcoin donations to the open source project but they certainly haven't gone to where they were supposed to go and where the page on the site said they were going. He delayed passing along the BTC for years and then ended up stealing it for himself.

He treated it as his personal Bitcoin investment. Similarly, despite me still owning 50% of Copperhead today, he treats the company as if he owns 100% of it. He doesn't just use the company to look after himself but to cause harm to me using the company's resources / revenue.
