Try reading your tweets where you replace CopperheadOS with BSV and James with Craig Wright. Look at what Copperhead has done to us and what they continue to do. Maybe you can understand why I think promoting them is being complicit in their fraud and abusive behavior towards us.

Anyone promoting them or giving them money is complicit in causing harm to me. They should be aware that substantial resources at Copperhead go towards causing harm to myself, GrapheneOS and other developers. Supporting them enables them to do this. They've made my life hell.

You've given them free marketing and are lending your credibility to them. That's immensely valuable to a fraudster and people doing that are how he gets in the position to continue raking in money from stealing my work and fraudulently presenting it as theirs.

Set up a PayNym rather than doing your ridiculous static address reuse and many of us Bitcoin users will send you some cash so you don’t need to worry so much about finances.
My God, you’re stubborn.

I'm not worried about my finances. The best way to support the project isn't giving me money but rather doing something to free up the time and energy dealing with Copperhead. Legal fees do churn through money but the time and energy being wasted is worth far more than that.

I would much prefer that you stop supporting them and lending them credibility they don't deserve. Please look closer at it. Reconsider giving a ringing endorsement of the privacy/security offered by a fork of my legacy codebase by a fraudster adding DRM/tracking. That's all.

I’m glad to hear you’re not in need of any donations to keep the project going. Genuinely.
Have a good day.

We don't need donations to keep the project going. We need help defending it from James Donaldson and Copperhead. They're draining the most important resources: developer time, energy and motivation. Nearly all donations will probably go towards fighting a legal battle with them.
We're going to separately raise money for that but anything else that's needed will come from the donations to the project. Not currently able to consider spending any of that on hiring developers, just finally putting an end to what Copperhead has been doing once and for all.
