Hey, , can you point me to the factory images? The docs (copperhead.co/android/docs/i) say they're on the release page, but they're not (anymore?). I tried generate-factory-images-package.sh but it wants some common/clear-factory-images-variables.sh script that isn't included.

Also, why are there entire repos with just a single word in them? Like github.com/CopperheadOS/c

It's more than the spiritual successor. It's the original open source project from 2014, before Copperhead Limited was founded. It was called CopperheadOS for a few years when it was sponsored by Copperhead. The new CopperheadOS is a different project from different developers.

The new CopperheadOS is almost entirely based on my legacy work, but they falsely claim authorship and ownership over it and are in violation of the licensing that I used. It isn't an open source project, isn't actively developed/maintained and they do no privacy/security work.

It's very unfortunate that they're still peddling misinformation on a daily basis and successfully scamming people. It's very easy to see through once you're aware of what's happening. Their fraud will come to an end soon, especially with the serious crimes they've committed.

Also important to note that I still own 50% of Copperhead Limited. They also still haven't returned the substantial amount of donations they stole from my open source project. They've also committed tax fraud and fraudulently obtained grants from the government.

That house of cards is going to come crashing down sooner or later. There's so much wrong with it and it's so obvious if you look closely and don't fall for their fragile lies/misrepresentations. People need to stop falling for their scams and funding their malicious behavior...

Thanks for all the info. Graphene installed very easily. When I opened the list of applications, it was the cleanest I've seen yet! I'll try it out for a bit then probably look at the code and build it myself. I'm looking forward to seeing the OpenBSD allocator et al. 😁

It uses github.com/GrapheneOS/har now which is a substantial improvement over the previous work on porting OpenBSD malloc to Bionic / Linux and developing extensions for it. That work led to writing a new hardened allocator designed to take full advantage of 64-bit systems.
