How dows the os stand agance a hacker with high forensitic knowledge? If they can buypass normal andoid sstem does it mean they can also buypass Graphene OS ?

Factory reset protection is an anti-theft feature provided by Google Play Services, not a security feature. GrapheneOS doesn't include Google Play Services and doesn't tie the device to any kind of online account or identity.

You're misquoting me and you're misunderstanding the role of the OS. As I said, GrapheneOS doesn't tie the device to any kind of online identity. An IMEI is a hardware identifier, and GrapheneOS is not sending them or leaking them anywhere. It's not what was being discussed.

For an OS to change the IMEI used by the cellular radio, the cellular radio would need to expose an API for that. There's no need to spoof it to apps since it's not accessible: grapheneos.org/faq#hardware-i. What makes you think that it's possible to change the IMEI used by the radio?
