Email is a legacy technology and there is no private or secure email. I have no interest in hosting a personal email server or migrating to another address. It wouldn't provide any benefit and would encourage people to send me more unwanted emails. I already get enough of that.

The community has shown very little interest in supporting other devices. No one other than the CalyxOS folks have done any serious research into finding other decent hardware targets. Their findings ended up being negative: Xiaomi Mi A2 has broken verified boot for non-stock OS.
