I still haven't gotten the issue with Stripe addressed, but I'm on the path to doing that. I think they'll be happy with a scan / picture of my passport once I get home and can get that to them. However I ended up realizing that there's a far bigger ongoing issue that I'd missed.

I'll likely post a thread about the new issue tomorrow. It's tied to the dishonesty and endless attacks on me from James Donaldson and what remains of Copperhead. I mentioned it specifically here before:

Stop falsely pretending to be the original project and the team behind it. Stop pretending to me and hijacking connections I built with the community and security researchers/engineers. Stop ignoring my rights as a 50% shareholder. Stop filing false tax information with the CRA.

The incompetence of these financial services companies pales in comparison to the government. They finally got around to doing something about the mismatch between my tax returns and Copperhead. What they decided to do with it is nonsensical and now I have to deal with that mess.

Canada Revenue Agency's solution to the mismatch is to add together my filing for the income and Copperhead's filing for it (which claims it is over 2x more than what I received) with the expectation that I pay taxes on both amounts added together. Governments are a total joke.

Going to be trying to get in touch with my lawyer ASAP to deal with this but I'm pretty stressed out about it and it's going to have a very negative impact on my development work and my ability to manage the community, etc. The problems keep building up and it's way too much now.

Hard enough keeping this project going without having to deal with James and his ongoing attacks on myself and GrapheneOS. He's still out there spreading misinformation and endless attacks on me, weaponizing lazy journalists / news platforms to hurt me and further his scamming.

People need to stop supporting Copperhead. They're doing immense harm to myself and GrapheneOS by giving him money and platforms to spread misinformation. One lone sociopath can only do this much damage because he manipulate all these people/organizations/systems to cause harm.

Can probably get this issue with the CRA resolved but will waste a lot of my time and energy. There will be legal / accounting fees and it's unknown how it's going to go. No way that I'll need to pay their nonsense reassessment but if they trust Copperhead I'll need to pay more.

It really sucks having the government expecting me to pay taxes on income that I didn't earn. Not only are they taking Copperhead's fraudulent filing at face value, but adding it to the amount that I already paid for the same source of income is just totally screwed up.
