twitter.com/plgonzalez86/s I think this is self-explanatory. The comment they mention is also not the reason for the ban. I want the freedom to have open and honest discussions / debates in the subreddit without the fear of people making brigades targeting people for their views.

So, if people aren't going to respect that, it's a problem, and they aren't welcome. I should be able to post about the Linux kernel and surrounding ecosystem having trash robustness and security without dealing with people creating brigades targeting me based on it months later.
