The interview provided a platform for a scammer to promote their snake oil and further line their pockets co-opting the work and reputation of an open source project they played no part in developing. This would be over if not for people enabling James to continue causing harm.

It may seem this was a crisis which happened over a year ago and is now just a historical issue. That's not the case. There are daily attacks on the project and myself from James. He's still fully invested into causing damage and profiting from the confusion / misinformation.

I greatly appreciate help spreading information about what actually happened: twitter.com/DanielMicay/st You can look back at what was published at the time. Some is archived at github.com/yegortimoshenk. James purged a lot of this via the Twitter account takeover, false DMCAs, etc.

For the most part, people closely following the project at the time weren't tricked by James. He was only able to trick a few people that he was in close contact with and able to manipulate over time. Unfortunately, most didn't closely follow it and are easy victims for scamming.

Yeah, saw that sycophantic mewling in that article yesterday. Sickening lack of journalistic integrity. You were and are the soul and brains of that project. COS is now a sinking ship and Donaldson is scrambling for a life raft at any cost.

I don't want an interview or another post presenting my side of the story. I want the post pushing misinformation and slander about me taken down. I don't want another post presenting another side of the story. All that does is grant legitimacy to this scammer. Not interested.
