The security community is a nutshell. twitter.com/marshray/statu I wonder why people don't feel welcome in this community. I try to do useful work in peace and yet on a daily basis there's an endless assault of misinformation and attacks. I'm completely tired of dealing with it.

Consider the possibility that others also want to “do useful work in peace” and if they contribute their time to write up professional feedback on a technical proposal only to immediately be accused of being personally dishonest it makes further useful discussion impossible.

There's nothing professional about posting unsubstantiated assumptions and misinformation about someone's work to dismiss it as not useful, in order to promote the direction they support. They presented an 'expert' opinion on it without having a clue what they were talking about.
