It's great that groups.google.com/a/chromium.org (Partition the HTTP Cache, "also planning on splitting socket pools, SSL session cache, reporting uploads, and HTTP server properties") will be happening upstream. It would have been quite difficult to develop and maintain in GrapheneOS.
