I finally got back control over the legacy subreddit for GrapheneOS. It's too bad that this happened because there has been a huge amount of damage from the trolling and misinformation caused by having it unmoderated for about 11 months. It also blocked doing a proper migration.

Thankfully, a Reddit administrator finally made things right. I don't think I'm going to bother getting back control over my old account. I don't really need it since the messages I received and was unable to read or respond to are approaching a year old now. Not worth more time.

The legacy subreddit still receives more traffic than reddit.com/r/GrapheneOS despite dropping to ~30% of the previous audience over the past year and then further when /r/GrapheneOS was made. It's a nice little victory. Getting back my stolen Twitter account will be huge though.
