- First 2 --> OK, normal for this kind of product, they have disclaimers for that. They sniff IP?
- they can feed you false data --> What would be the implication or their motivation to do this? N
- TOR or truste node option --> Isn't that possible to come when they release it?

We just recently bundled Tor in the Samourai Wallet app. We haven't had a chance to bring that over to Sentinel yet (there is only two of us working on the mobile apps..) - Francis knows we bundled Tor into Samourai already which is why he is focused on Sentinel in this hissy fit

Orbot can proxy it through Tor without it having direct support for Tor anyway. It doesn't need explicit support from apps since it acts as a VPN service. The only thing the apps need to do is not leak via communication with other apps and I doubt it does anything like that.
It's not practical for every app to bundle Tor and it means that each app will need to look after keeping Tor updated. It's also far more likely that apps have leaks if they are doing proxying internally vs. having all their traffic forced through Orbot using the VPN service.

In this case, keeping it up-to-date and doing it properly probably aren't a problem, but in general, I'd rather force an app's traffic through Tor rather than trusting that the app developers have correctly proxied every connection through Tor without having anything leaking.

Correct, however dealing with Orbot support issues started to take up too much time. We found that by bundling in app, most of the support issues have now been resolved.
Sentinel users can absolutely use Orbot in the meantime.
