They asked a question, which I answered in good faith and in depth, and their negative response to that is such a clear demonstration of exactly what I was talking about.

I'm sorry for believing that open source developers should be compensated for their work and believing in running the project in a sustainable way where multiple companies and organizations fund developers working on it full-time. I'm not really sure why that's controversial.

The work being done on GrapheneOS is funded. It's released as permissively licensed open source software because there are individuals, companies and organizations making that possible. It's not a hobby project. It's my full-time job and will be a full-time job for other people.

I'm explicitly not seeking out people to contribute to development of the project for free. People are certainly free to contribute, but I'm going to expect that the supporters of the project fund their work if it's significant. I have funding to pay more people to work on it.
