I was reluctantly selling Bitcoin through QuadrigaCX due to lack of decent exchanges available to Canadians. I would have used Coinbase but they dropped support fiat withdrawals in Canada. Since I didn't trust them, I kept the value there at < 1k USD by doing it at a slow pace.

I hadn't sent another batch since I was waiting for the price to go up, so thankfully I didn't have any Bitcoin or fiat left on QuadrigaCX. It looks like they've pulled an exit scam so that was a close call. Could have easily lost up to ~1k USD worth of Bitcoin / CAD from this.

There was a substantial premium for BTC on QuadrigaCX since fiat withdrawals weren't reliable and people used BTC withdrawals to get money out. That was nice for selling but contributed heavily to my lack of faith in their platform. I wanted to sell a lot more than I was able to.
