I don't see why anyone would use a Trezor without a passphrase anyway.It adds significant security, if w/enough words and memorized.Anyway, need to check that, saw several exploits that turned out to be impractical unless it's 3 letter agencies after your Satoshis.

Additional risk of loss. There's no checksum so any password looks "correct".

Funds are lost if the passphrase is forgotten, whether or not the device treats only one passphrase as valid. Supporting any number of passphrases may cause some confusion for users, but I'm unclear on how it would lead to increased risk of losing access to their money.
