So what if they do? The important thing is that immense wealth does not translate to immense influence over the rules of the game. THAT'S the difference between Bitcoin and fiat. (or Ethereum, for that matter)

I could not agree more. I keep saying this but 0.5% of the people control 90% of the wealth in bitcoin. It’s a pyramid scheme.

The claims are based on misrepresentations of data anyway. Modern wallets use many addresses and money in a single address can belong to many people due to centralized services. Distribution of Bitcoin across addresses isn't the distribution of ownership among individuals at all.
